Our Mission
Swiftwater Youth and Educational Adventures mission is to provide affordable adventures and educational experiences to youth with immersive activities such as whitewater rafting, ropes course, climbing, kayaking, outdoor education and skills games, and immersive natural science experiences. Experienced Team Members
Swiftwater Adventures has been serving the community and supplying adventures to the masses for over a decade. Formed by founding adventure guides Brian, Cliff and Luke, with over 65 years of collective experience as guides, Swiftwater was formed with a goal to provide fun, safe, and interactive adventures!
Our youth and educational facilitators all have background checks, first aid and CPR training, as well as swiftwater rescue and river guide training, ropes course and climbing training, background in natural science, and are fun people!
Adventures
Swiftwater Youth and Educational Adventures offers a variety of adventures such as whitewater rafting and kayaking, ropes course, rock climbing, orienteering, outdoor education and outdoor games, all of which are an interactive, immersive experience.
All our adventures have an element of natural science education and we can customize our adventure to your lesson goals.

Place Based Learning
Placed Based Learning uses your local community and or environment as a foundation for learning. We are fortunate to have exceptional resources at our locations: the Upper and Lower St. Louis River, Thomson Reservoir, Munger Trail, and Jay Cooke St. Park, as well as our ropes course, and our headquarters in Carlton, MN.
Place Based learning helps foster a connection to the students local area and an environmental ethos.
